The Corpus Christi weekend finally arrived. The yoga center, with its shala and jetty, was officially opened by the originator and founder, Regine Brandner, and myself, in the presence of numerous guests and locals.

Following the official opening on Friday, Boris Georgiev gave a free introductory event to Ashtanga Yoga before Lisa Hirsch – Li Solé, together with tabla player Christian Weiß, invited everyone to an open mantra circle in the shala in the evening.

For early risers, Elfie Guru Sahai invited participants to a Kultalini Sadhana. Afterwards, hostess Regine Brandner led a Slow Yoga class.

Boris concluded the morning with an introduction to Acro Yoga, before Ksenia Worthmann led an impressive breathwork pranayama session. Boris ended the afternoon with part 2 of the Ashtanga introduction.

The cultural highlight was the concert by Emmy winner Renée Sunbird on the ukulele. She was accompanied by Helena Fleißner on the harp and Christian Weiß on the tabla.
